Abstract

This study explores the ongoing debate between constructivist and behaviorist pedagogical paradigms in education. By conducting a comparative analysis of their effectiveness in contemporary classrooms, we employ a mixed-method approach that includes quantitative assessments and qualitative interviews with educators. Our findings reveal that while constructivist strategies foster deeper engagement and critical thinking among students, behaviorist methodologies excel in achieving specific learning outcomes within structured environments. The implications of these results highlight the necessity for educators to adopt a balanced approach that integrates both paradigms, thereby enhancing the learning experience and addressing diverse student needs.
