Abstract

In the landscape of education studies, learner-centric pedagogies have gained substantial traction; however, their empirical grounding remains ambiguous. This article investigates the underpinnings of learner-centric paradigms through a mixed-methods approach, comprising quantitative surveys and qualitative case studies across diverse educational institutions. Data from over 500 educators and 2000 students were subjected to sophisticated statistical analyses using SPSS (version 27) to evaluate the efficacy of these pedagogical constructs. Findings reveal a statistically significant improvement (p < 0.05) in learner engagement and performance metrics when compared to traditional methodologies, alongside qualitative themes highlighting barriers in implementation and perceptions of effectiveness. This study challenges the existing literature by providing nuanced insights that advocate for a reconceptualization of pedagogical frameworks, thus paving the way for future research and practical applications in education.
