This study investigates the intricacies of supply chain resilience through an empirical case analysis of contingency strategies employed in the semiconductor industry, crucially affected by global supply disruptions. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we conducted in-depth interviews with supply chain managers and analyzed quantitative data from industry reports. Our findings reveal that adaptive sourcing, enhanced collaboration, and strategic inventory management significantly mitigate operational risks. Specifically, companies that implemented these strategies reported a 32% reduction in lead times and a 25% increase in overall supply chain efficiency. This research not only highlights the importance of resilience in the semiconductor sector but also provides actionable insights for managers seeking to navigate complex supply chain challenges.
