Abstract

In the contemporary landscape of management science, the optimization of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) processes is paramount for effective project management. This study proposes an innovative hybrid framework that integrates analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy logic to address the inherent complexities in evaluating project alternatives. Utilizing a dataset derived from real-world projects across diverse sectors, we employed advanced statistical analyses using R and Python to assess the framework’s efficacy. Our findings reveal a significant enhancement in decision-making accuracy, achieving a 25% reduction in error rates compared to traditional methods. The implications of this research extend beyond theoretical contributions, offering practical insights for project managers seeking to improve decision quality, thereby aligning project outcomes with strategic organizational objectives.
