A Comparative Analysis of Resource Allocation Strategies in Agile versus Traditional Project Management

In the rapidly evolving landscape of project management, the choice of resource allocation strategy has emerged as a critical determinant of project success. This study conducts a comparative analysis between Agile and Traditional resource management practices, utilizing a mixed-method approach that includes quantitative metrics and qualitative case studies. Data were collected from various industries, revealing that Agile practices significantly enhance responsiveness and stakeholder engagement, while Traditional methods provide a structured framework that ensures compliance and risk mitigation. The findings indicate that an integrative approach, leveraging the strengths of both methodologies, can optimize resource allocation and improve project outcomes in diverse contexts. This research contributes to the ongoing discourse on effective management strategies and offers actionable insights for practitioners aiming to enhance project performance.
