Abstract

This study addresses the pervasive issue of corruption in public procurement, a challenge that undermines public trust and economic development across nations. By utilizing a mixed-methods approach combining qualitative case studies and quantitative analysis, we developed an AI-driven risk assessment framework designed to enhance transparency and accountability. Through rigorous testing, our findings reveal a statistically significant reduction in procurement irregularities, with a 35% decrease in fraudulence rates and an improvement in overall project delivery efficiency by 22%. Furthermore, stakeholder interviews highlight the importance of incorporating advanced analytical tools into procurement processes, emphasizing their role in fostering a culture of accountability. These insights offer both theoretical and practical contributions to the field of public administration.
