Abstract

This article examines the prevailing constructivist paradigms that dominate educational methodologies in the twenty-first century. Through a comprehensive literature review and case study analyses, it critiques the limitations of entrenched constructivist principles in addressing modern educational challenges such as digital literacy and multicultural classrooms. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study reveals that while constructivism has laid a formidable foundation for learner-centered education, its rigidity in application often undermines adaptive learning methodologies. The findings suggest that an integrative framework, which synthesizes constructivist and traditional pedagogical elements, is essential for fostering inclusive and effective learning environments. Ultimately, this research contributes to a paradigmatic shift in educational theory and practice, advocating for a dynamic re-evaluation of existing constructs.
