Abstract

This article addresses the pervasive issue of cognitive overload among students engaged in remote learning environments, particularly in the post-pandemic educational landscape. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, this study identifies key factors contributing to cognitive overload and evaluates various pedagogical strategies aimed at enhancing student engagement and knowledge retention. The findings reveal that structured instructional designs, interactive content, and timely feedback mechanisms significantly mitigate cognitive strain, thereby fostering a more conducive learning atmosphere. Furthermore, recommendations for educators and policy-makers are provided to implement these strategies effectively in diverse educational settings, ensuring a more resilient learning framework for future challenges.
