Abstract

This research examines the preparation of preservice teachers for research-oriented STEAM education with a particular focus on culturally responsive pedagogical approaches. Through a comparative analysis of educational contexts in Asia, Europe, and Africa, the study explores how cultural backgrounds influence the development of research competencies, learning preferences, and engagement in STEAM-related activities. The findings highlight the role of cultural values and educational traditions in shaping effective teaching and learning strategies within STEAM teacher education programs. The paper emphasizes the importance of integrating research literacy and culturally informed instructional practices to better equip future teachers for diverse classroom environments. These insights contribute to the advancement of inclusive and research-driven approaches in modern STEAM teacher preparation.
