Assessing the Effectiveness of Blended Learning in Community Colleges

Abstract

This research assesses the effectiveness of blended learning models in community colleges by comparing student outcomes in blended versus traditional courses. By collecting quantitative and qualitative data from several institutions, the study examines how blended learning impacts student success, retention, and satisfaction. The findings reveal that blended learning can offer significant benefits, particularly for non-traditional students seeking flexible learning options. However, challenges related to technology access and course design are noted. The article addresses these challenges and provides recommendations for optimizing blended learning experiences in community colleges.
