Abstract

The human virome, comprising all viruses in the human body, has profound impacts on health and disease. This study maps the diverse viral populations within the human microbiome, exploring their roles in health, immunity, and disease progression. By understanding virome dynamics, we aim to identify novel therapeutic targets. This work provides a comprehensive overview of the human virome's implications for modern medicine.
