Abstract

This study explores the structural basis of off-target effects in CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing. Through high-resolution crystallography, we identify key molecular interactions that contribute to unintended DNA binding. Our results provide crucial insights into the design of more accurate genome editing tools, potentially reducing off-target mutations in therapeutic applications.
