Abstract

This study investigates the role of RNA interference (RNAi) in plant defense mechanisms against viral infections. Utilizing model organisms such as Arabidopsis thaliana, the research explores how RNAi pathways can be harnessed to strengthen plant resilience. Techniques including gene silencing and expression analysis were employed to understand the molecular interactions between plant hosts and viral pathogens, providing insights that may lead to the development of genetically engineered crops with enhanced resistance.
