Abstract

This study explores the multifaceted impacts of globalization on local economies, focusing on both positive and negative effects. By analyzing data from various countries, the paper highlights how globalization influences economic growth, employment, and income distribution at the local level. The findings suggest that while globalization can drive economic progress, it also poses challenges such as increased inequality. The paper calls for policies that mitigate these adverse effects while enhancing the benefits of globalization.
