The Role of Microfinance in Empowering Women Entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa

This paper investigates the impact of microfinance on empowering women entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa, with an emphasis on Nigeria and Kenya. By evaluating microfinance programs and their success rates, the study aims to uncover how these financial mechanisms contribute to the economic empowerment of women. The research uses a combination of field surveys and financial data analysis to offer a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The findings show significant improvements in business development and family well-being, but also highlight challenges in financial literacy and repayment rates.
