This study explores the socioeconomic outcomes of universal basic income (UBI) trials conducted in Finland and Canada. By analyzing the economic behaviors and well-being of participants, the paper aims to understand the broader implications of UBI on employment, consumer spending, and quality of life. The research utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative data from economic indicators and qualitative interviews. Results indicate that UBI can lead to increased economic security and improved mental health, although its long-term effects on employment require further investigation.
