Abstract

This study analyzes the economics behind renewable energy adoption in the European Union, focusing on solar and wind energy investments. By examining policy frameworks, subsidies, and market trends, the research aims to understand how economic instruments are facilitating or hindering the transition to renewable energy. The article provides a comprehensive overview of the cost-benefit scenarios and the economic implications of green energy initiatives. Results indicate positive trends towards sustainable energy, with challenges in grid integration and financial incentives.
