Abstract

This research investigates the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants in water using titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles. Emphasizing the mechanism of photocatalytic reactions, the study assesses the efficiency of TiO2 under different environmental conditions, including sunlight exposure. Our experiments demonstrate the potential of TiO2 nanoparticles to degrade persistent pollutants effectively, offering a sustainable solution to water pollution. The findings underscore the importance of material science in developing advanced water purification technologies.
