Recent advancements in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) have highlighted the need for more precise measurement techniques. This study introduces a novel methodological framework that integrates psychophysiological metrics, such as heart rate variability and galvanic skin response, into the assessment of therapeutic outcomes. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we conducted a longitudinal study with 150 participants undergoing CBT. Results demonstrated that incorporating these metrics provides a more robust understanding of treatment efficacy, revealing nuanced insights into the interplay between physiological responses and cognitive processes. The findings suggest that this integrated approach could optimize therapeutic outcomes and enhance tailoring of CBT interventions.
