The Psychology of Social Media Addiction: A Comparative Study

This study examines the psychological factors contributing to social media addiction among users in different countries. By analyzing behavioral data and self-reported measures from participants in South Korea, Italy, and Nigeria, the research identifies common triggers and psychological profiles associated with excessive social media use. The findings provide a basis for developing prevention strategies and policies tailored to diverse cultural settings to mitigate the impact of social media addiction.
