Abstract

In recent years, the demand for efficacious therapeutic strategies for anxiety disorders has surged, highlighting the limitations of traditional cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This empirical study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative analysis of patient outcomes with qualitative assessments from therapeutic sessions. Our findings indicate that while standard CBT protocols yield moderate improvements, significant variations exist in treatment efficacy attributed to individual cognitive styles and coping mechanisms. Moreover, a secondary analysis reveals nuanced insights into the therapeutic alliance's role, challenging conventional assumptions about uniformity in client experiences. This research not only addresses the critical gap in personalized therapeutic approaches but also re-evaluates established CBT frameworks, emphasizing the necessity for adaptive strategies in clinical practice.
