Abstract

This article investigates the efficacy of various cognitive behavioral interventions (CBIs) in addressing mental health issues, particularly focusing on socioeconomic variables that may influence their effectiveness. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, we conducted a longitudinal study involving 300 participants from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Quantitative data were analyzed using structural equation modeling (SEM) to elucidate relationships between intervention types and outcomes such as anxiety and depression symptom reduction. Qualitative interviews provided insights into participants' experiences with these interventions. The findings revealed significant variations in efficacy based on socioeconomic status, with higher success rates in lower-income groups. This work highlights the necessity of tailoring CBIs to account for socioeconomic factors, providing a research foundation for future intervention designs and policy implementations.
