Abstract

This study investigates the fatigue performance of recycled asphalt pavement (RAP) under variable climatic conditions along the Trans-Canada Highway. A series of laboratory fatigue tests were conducted using RAP samples collected from multiple sites. The study reveals significant insights into the temperature-dependent degradation mechanisms and provides a novel predictive model for pavement lifespan. Results underscore the importance of regional climate adaptation in pavement engineering strategies, contributing to both economic efficiency and sustainability.
