Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of cycling infrastructure on urban livability in Copenhagen, Denmark, known for its extensive and well-planned cycling networks. By examining urban development indicators and resident satisfaction surveys, the research assesses how dedicated cycling lanes contribute to reduced pollution, increased physical activity, and improved quality of life. The findings emphasize the importance of inclusive and comprehensive urban planning in promoting cycling culture. The paper concludes with recommendations for cities aiming to enhance livability through cycling infrastructure investments, highlighting Copenhagen's approach as a model for sustainable urban development.
