Abstract

This article explores the latest advancements in nanotechnology as they pertain to energy storage solutions, with a focus on batteries and supercapacitors. It reviews innovative nanomaterials that enhance energy density, charge rates, and longevity. The implications of these technologies for renewable energy systems are discussed, alongside potential environmental impacts. The paper addresses challenges in scaling production and ensuring material sustainability. Case studies demonstrate successful applications in electric vehicles and grid storage. Future directions for research in nanotechnology's role in energy sustainability are also outlined.
