Abstract

This study explores the deployment of 5G networks and their significant role in expanding the Internet of Things (IoT). It analyzes how 5G technology enhances connectivity, speed, and reliability for IoT applications in smart cities, healthcare, and industrial automation. The paper reviews technical challenges, such as network infrastructure and spectrum allocation. It provides insights into early deployment case studies and the socio-economic implications of widespread 5G adoption. The research concludes with an outlook on future IoT developments facilitated by 5G technology and potential policy and regulatory adjustments.
