Maxillofacial prosthetics is a crucial domain within dentistry, particularly in reconstructing facial defects. This study investigates the efficacy of conventional versus digital workflow approaches to determine their impact on patient outcomes and practitioner efficiency. Utilizing a mixed-methods design, quantitative data were collected from 100 patients undergoing prosthetic reconstruction, alongside qualitative interviews with 20 practitioners. The findings underscore that digital workflows yield a 30% reduction in fabrication time and a 15% improvement in patient satisfaction scores (p < 0.05). The study emphasizes the necessity for integrating advanced technologies within traditional practices for enhanced clinical outcomes.
