Abstract

Our research assesses the role of constructed and natural wetlands in mitigating urban floods. Through hydrological modeling and case studies, we evaluate the effectiveness of wetlands in flood risk reduction. The findings demonstrate that wetlands can significantly alleviate flood impacts, highlighting their value in urban resilience planning.
