Abstract

This article evaluates the potential of agroforestry systems to sequester atmospheric carbon in soil. By studying various agroforestry practices across different climates, we quantify the carbon sequestration capacity and assess the benefits for climate change mitigation. The results highlight agroforestry as a viable strategy for enhancing soil carbon storage.
